Trousseau presents Summer 2012

In 2011, the home clothing brand Trousseau completed 20 years, and enjoyed an exclusive partnership with two great national designers: Fernando and Humberto Campana.

Adriana and Romeu Trussardi Neto sought inspiration through Art and Design to launch the Summer 2012 Trousseau Collection. The collection is named the Art Collection because it pays homage to the brothers Fernando and Humberto Campana, award-winning Brazilian designers who are internationally known. In 2011 this unique and exclusive partnership also celebrates 20 years of the brand.

The Campana brothers have created two exclusive collections of bed linen for the Summer 2012 Trousseau Collection.

In Classics, the designers have revived the traditional handicraft of lace makers and reproduced this in bedspreads, sheets and pillowcases with a romantic effect of overlaid lace. The idea of ??the duo brings a fresh twist to the classic use of lace. The romantic and delicate material is used freely, creating elaborate textures and overlays.

In the other collection called Soft Reptile, the highlight is the matelassé items created for the bed, from sheets to accessories. The pieces suggest the textures and ripples of the reptile world, abstracting the shapes into warm and inviting curves

The Art Collection is presented in the second issue of the Trousseau Magazine, a personal brand publication. The design is by graphic designer Sidney Araújo, with photos by Rômulo Fialdini and Marcus Hausser.

Besides the Campana brothers, there are interviews in the magazine with many personalities from the world of art and design, including: Fernanda Feitosa; Daniel Malva; Evangelina Seiler; and Bruno 9Li.
